In 1950, the city was relatively small and centered around the business district. Major roads ran north-south and east-west, intersecting at the city center. Residential areas were limited and clustered around the central business district. There was a single government building near the southern part of the city, and a river flowed to the west of the business area, though no bridge existed to cross it. To the far east of the city, an airport was located.

In contrast, the current map reveals major transformations. The residential area has expanded significantly in all directions, including across the river, which is now spanned by a new bridge. Two large lakes have been formed, likely due to the construction of a dam in the southeast. Additionally, the airport located in the east has expanded in size. The presence of a more extensive infrastructure, including the introduction of the dam, lakes, and new roads, reflects the city’s adaptation to a much larger population and its increased need for modern amenities and resources.
